Available now - Our WEBLOG about our project. This new "BLOGSPOT" will serve the exchange of information, news and comments by participants and new visitors.
Under http://artworldproject.blogspot.com we share actual project news, other news of interests as well as opinions by participants and public visitors.
At the beginning of this new service we take the advantage to integrate two short "opinion polls" on our blogspot. We are looking forward to your visit and your votes on our questions.
Due to technical limitations, our BLOGSPOT is published in English, because multi lingual services are not available (at least not easily). Thanks for your understanding to all of you with other native languages.
08 | 08 |2007 – „KunstRaumKAGes“ supports ART WORLD PROJECT with 100 art contributions! The print medium “G'sund” ( means: Health ) with its attached internet platform www.gsund.net of the Styrian Hospital Corporation (KAGes) supports ART WORLD PROJECT in the sense of its social commitment and its art and cultural activities.
”G'sund” appears four times annually as magazine as well as online medium and informs about events, achievements and developments within the Styrian National Hospitals (LKH's). The integrated “KunstRaumKAGes” (ArtRoom) of “G’sund.net” informes about art and cultural activities in all national Styrian hospitals and central departments of “KAGes” as well as about the tasks and the effects of art in hospitals.
“As further development of the connection between health, art and social commitment “G'sund” is going to purchase 100 fields (in the first phase) on ART WORLD PROJECT to support this idea of an unique art project with artists from all parts of the world connected with the support given to suffering children. It is our intent to promote artists, who are presenting their works of art in many of our hospital galleries, by presenting themselfes with two of their works of art on ART WORLD PROJECT. “

11.03.2007 - New Features for Participants ! Dear Participants,
As of today, as a registered user, you will find new features on ART WORLD PROJECT in order to provide additional benefits for your participation.
Following features are ready to use:
- Your personal "Weblog"
- For your personal presentation, your profile picture, your datas and overview about all
your contributions on ART WORLD PROJECT;
- Your personal "layout-color" to select from a menue for your weblog. - Option to offer your work of art to sell
(If you would like to sell your original work of art displayed on ART WORLD PROJECT, you
can now offer it to sell. If you realy sell this work of art, you can donate (based on your
free choice and decision ) a specified amount (also based on your own choice) of the
sales price to our aid projects.
A donaten of your sales price is of your own free choice. We do not demand a donation,
but every single Euro helps. The sales feature is provided by us for free and we do not
ask for any commission! - Your personal Guestbook - Registered (only) users can leave messages into your
guestbook and you can enter your own comments and remarks; - Rating of your work of art (released latest on Monday 12th of March)
- 10-Star rating of your work of art;
- Every registered user can rate your work of art from 1 to 10 stars. The summary of all
your received rating points are displayed in your weblog next to your contribution. Each
registered user can just place one rating for each single contribution.
In the future we will also publish a rating-list as an overview of all actual rating results!

Some participants have already integrated a weblink to our homepage right after they got registered and uploaded their contributions on ART WORLD PROJECT. This helps us a lot and we already noticed visits on our hompage originated from this weblinks.

16.02.2007 - New StatisticsAfter being "Live" for three days, our statistics are showing a successful increase of visitors:
1.800 "unique user" - 600 new visitors since we went "live"
19.300 "page views" - the number of views was doubled after three days "live-operation"
Visitors from 35 countries - new, this week so far: Brasil, Denmark, Aserbaijan, Ukraine
15.02.2007 - Successful Live Operation
Switching to "live-operation" is always a challenge. The pulse rate of all involved people increases as the clock starts ticking for the last minutes. The big question - "does everything runs according to our plan and according to the tests we did during the last weeks?" - runs thru everybodies head. It's February 12th, 07.00 pm - and here you go - the first small "bug" - we can't go "live". Our online tool displays 25 users on the page and everybody seems to be a little bit nervous. 20.30 pm - the bug was found - and we pressed the buttom. 30 minutes later, the first visitors got registered and ordered their individual field on ART WORLD PROJECT. It's done !
The first three days passed by successfully. Some miner bugs were found and eliminated during the first hours and the first operational day. Since than, the system runs reliable and smooth.

Thank you very much also to some of the early participants facing some difficulties with the registration and upload function in the beginning. Thank you very much for your understanding and your patience!
12.02.2007 / 07.00 pm - Going Live
Dear ART WORLD PROJECT Visitor, We are ready - ART WORLD PROJECT switches to live operation. From now on, you can reserve your individual field on the project, you can register yourself and submit your contribution.
In order to get more publicity and attention on your individual contribution, your work of art and yourself as an artist, we will introduce step by step some more features on this platform within the upcoming weeks (e.g. a voting function for your individual contribution). So, come and visit us frequently and dont miss interesting new features.
We wish you a pleasant participation in ART WORLD PROJECT - and dont forget to recommend this website to all of your friends and to whom you think might be interested in. Because at the end of the day we want to see the last field out of 50.400 being sold in order to support children in distress and need.

10.02.2007 - Results of Auction in Cooperation with eBay.at
On February, 9th 2007 the last auction of the first six fields on ART WORLD PROJECT has been completed successfully. Artists from Germany, Switzerland and Austria participated and the auctions have been closed with a total amount of EURO 166,50. This amount will be doanted 100% to our charity-fund for the selected aid organizations. We would like to say "thank you very" much to all participants and to the final winners of the auctions. You are the first artists participating in ART WORLD PROJECT. Welcome!

The first two weeks after going online passed by and our statistics confirms the broad interests by artists around the globe in ART WORLD PROJECT to us.
